Find Out How You Can Help
Physical Therapy entails the evaluation and treatment of patients with acute neuromuscular, musculo-skeletal disabilities and post-surgical patients. All evaluations are performed by New York State licensed physical therapists. We provide ongoing education to patients and their families regarding disease process and exercise plans. We also provide ongoing assessments of each individual's disability and rehabilitation potential. Recommendations for other appropriate services are all under the direction of a doctor's order.

Physical rehabilitation services include:
  • An Initial assessment performed within 24 hours of physician's request
  • An acute care inpatient gymnasium developed to increase strength and flexibility
  • A staff with extensive training in Baclofen trials and the rehabilitation needed after Baclofen pump insertions
  • A dedicated staff that attends continuing education seminars to remain current with new technologies
  • A staff consisting of licensed and certified professionals
  • A department which serves as a training center for students from affiliated universities and colleges
Hours of Operation
Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
